Are firms leaving customers stuck in the web?
|
MyCustomer.com article cites Empirix research
As the Internet becomes more ubiquitous, users are changing their expectations for the online experiences that organizations—and their Websites—deliver. This MyCustomer.com article explores whether users are truly happy with their online experiences and looks at ways organizations are working to improve customer satisfaction.
The article cites Empirix research, which found that many users are growing impatient with the usability and performance of the Websites they visit. One third of survey respondents said they were dissatisfied with an organization after a bad web experience, with a fifth feeling strongly enough to take their business elsewhere. Nine out of 10 respondents said they wouldn’t make more than three attempts at an online transaction, with less than one in 10 willing to telephone a company to resolve a problem.
