Overview:

Empirix is seeking software development engineers to join a team that develops the award winning Empirix OneSight family of performance management products for Enterprise customers.

This person will develop a thorough understanding of the product’s overall feature set, design, and implementation while maintaining an end-user perspective. A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience participating in the full software engineering cycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, test, and support of their applications.

Required Skills/Education:

• 3+ years experience web-based product development experience using server-side Java programming and J2EE technologies. Experience with C/C++ programming a plus.
• Knowledge and skills with web technologies and frameworks such as Apache Struts, HTML/XML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript preferred.
• Relational database design and programming experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience developing product in Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience developing distributed mission critical enterprise applications a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required, with ability to drive open issues to timely resolution.
• BS/MS – Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
