Software Engineer – Hammer Platform

Position Summary:
Software Engineers required to design, develop, integrate and maintain software for the Hammer IP based product line.

Required Skills: 

• 3-5 years experience
• Strong OO design skills/experience developing C++ applications in large multi-threaded Win32 environments
• Experience with client/server environments and inter-process communication:  COM/DCOM, Sockets, TCP/IP, etc.
• Experience on systems where high performance was a priority
• Debugging experience in a complex distributed environment

Desired skills:

• Any experience with VoIP signaling protocols:  SIP, H.323, MGCP, MEGACO, SCCP/Skinny is a plus
• Any experience with VoIP media protocols/technologies:  RTP, RTCP, Video(H.263, H.264), audio codecs (G.711, G.729, G.723, iLBC, Speex), FAX (T.38), also a plus

Experience and Education:

• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Understand product architecture and contribute to its enhancement
• BS/CS
