Chairman and CEO
Greg is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years’ experience in the management and strategic development of emerging software and hardware networking companies in both the enterprise and carrier markets. As Executive Chairman of Empirix, Greg works closely with Empirix customers and its senior management team to shape the company’s strategic direction and ensure that its product and services remain closely aligned with customer needs.
Most recently he was CEO of Quallaby, a carrier-class network management software vendor that was acquired by Micromuse in 2005. Prior to Quallaby, Greg was CEO and co-founder of Cadia Networks, a networking hardware manufacturer that was acquired by Fore Corporation. Greg has also held senior management positions at Xyplex Corporation and Microcom, Inc.
Greg holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management.
