The Hammer Mega-Controller is a packaged software and hardware solution that provides a single user interface to control multiple Hammer test systems.  The Mega-Controller can scale to control beyond 100,000 simultaneous calls.  It enables equipment manufacturers and service providers to test high density next-generation equipment using real-world traffic profiles and a wide range of traffic types and protocols.

The Mega-Controller is based on Empirix's innovative TestBuilder platform which provides an easy-to-use, intuitive interface for all test creation, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.  Users can define groups consisting of multiple Hammer testers and treat these groups as single entities for all test scheduling.  The Hammer Mega-Controller is the key to the industry's first fully integrated large-scale and modular test solution.

Call Profiles

• Saw Tooth Pattern - ramps up to a peak number of calls and then ramps down from peak
• Blast Pattern - quickly starts a number of simultaneous calls, keeps them connected for a specified time and then disconnects them
• Ramp Pattern - gradually increases the number of calls up to a specified number of callers and sustains that number of calls
• Steady Call Rate - delivers a fixed, regulated call rate into the system under test
